![]() ![]() In Co-op, it's actually extremely mild in chat. but I enjoy playing too much and I want to learn.įor me when I did Randoms, it wasn't "toxic." It added spice to the matchesĪs I said in my post, I started playing PVE a lot more. But the I've been getting a lot of chats about how bad I am and how I should stop playing the game. I'm amazed at how bad I can be in some games, even though I'm reading on here and watching "how to" videos galore. Now granted, I've been the brunt of some of it, and I do understand people ragging on me because I'm pretty slow with getting into the flow of things. When I first started playing random I hardly noticed the TC. It's funny how a few of you mentioned the toxic chat (TC). Wow you guys, I really appreciate all the feedback. Fighting in co-op, the bots just charge in headlong so you can maneuver yourself into position to get done what you need to get done without fear of being targeted by 12 other players. In PvP you are often responding to what the other players are doing so you often have little choice. IMHO the smart thing to do if you enjoy PvP, is always play there unless you are grinding out certain mission/campaign/directives where you have to do specific things like "sink 5 destroyers" or "get 10 defended ribbons". If you like PvP, most definitely stay there to play because the rewards are HUGE compared to co-op although if you are worried about win rate and stats, playing stock ships against human players is probably not a good idea so grinding out your upgrades against the bots is probably a better choice. The matches only take around 5 minutes so it is a good mode if you have real life interruptions that you need to attend to so that is an added benefit. Some of us just like blasting bots because it is relaxing and stress free. Just trying to learn the ropes around here. ![]() Is Co-op primarily for newbies? What are some reasons why experienced players would want to play in Co-op instead of Random?Īlso, if I get a new ship, is it best to start off in Co-op?įorgive me if these are dumb questions. I've noticed a couple of threads where experienced players are discussing their continued playing in Co-op. ![]()
